Homegoing services in loving memory of Mr. Hussy Barker were held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Grove Baptist Church in Barnwell with Rev. John Young officiating.
Mr. Barker departed this life on December 21, 2016 at Aiken Regional Medical Center in Aiken.
He was born on July 27, 1925 in Dunbar, the son of the late Tillman and Nobie Barker. He was preceded in death by seven sisters and brothers. Mr. Barker was a member of St. Thomas Grove Baptist Church where he served faithfully as an usher. He retired from Shuron.
He leaves to cherish his memory devoted friends, Harry and Emma Dickson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Lebby Funeral Home of Barnwell assisted the family with arrangements.
