A Celebration of Life Service for Merrick Huff will be held 4 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with the Reverend Bob Scroggs officiating.
Merrick Lane Huff, born April 27, 1972, was found to have passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his maternal grandmother’s (Joyce H. Moore) residence in Barnwell County. Merrick grew up in Barnwell, attended Barnwell High School and served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed nature, had a love for animals, music and was known as an entertaining and light-hearted friend. He had a loyal love for his family and is survived by his sisters, Amy Huff, Heather Still and Laura Huff with whom he remained close. Merrick was happiest when he was surrounded by his many friends he leaves behind.
In addition to his sisters Amy, Heather and Laura; Merrick is survived by his mother, Shirley (Danny) Still of Sevierville, TN; step-mom, Teresa Huff of Florida; Grandmama, Joyce Moore of Williston; nephew and nieces, Landin Still, Addyson and Allyson Sanders of Sevierville, TN and many aunts, uncles, cousins and fur babies.
He is preceded in death by his daddy, David Huff, formerly of Florida; Pa-pa Lee and Ma-ma Lucille Huff, formerly of Harleyville, Granddaddy Charlie Dale; and a number of fur babies.
