Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Lee Isaac Jr. of Blackville will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church – 9 Levy Lane, Hwy. 3, Blackville – with Reverend Henry Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Blackville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday.
Mr. Jimmy Lee Isaac Jr., 51, was born the third child of ten children to Mrs. Nerline Jones Isaac and the late Mr. Jimmy Lee Isaac Sr. on October 3, 1964 in Blackville.
He graduated in the Class of 1984 at Blackville-Hilda High School of Blackville.
He was employed in various positions including Heritage Green and Augusta Fiberglass for a number years. Some of his responsibilities included grinding, sanding, and often reading blue prints. His various jobs led him to several different states.
“Boogie”, as he was affectionately known, had a special gift. The gift of writing poetry was his inspiring privilege. Many poems were written on several different occasions for whoever needed his beautiful expression for words of inspiration. His loving memory will forever live in the hearts and minds of those who loved and cherished him.
Boogie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Isaac Sr., a sister, Sandra Isaac, and one brother, Roger Lee Isaac.
On Monday, May 6, 2016, Mr. Jimmy Lee Isaac Jr., made his final transition at Aiken Regional Medical Centers of Aiken following an extended illness.
Loved ones he leaves to cherish his memories include: his loving mother, Mrs. Nerline Jones Isaac of the home; six daughters: Felicia Tooks of Williston, Victoria Tooks of Barnwell, Jasmine Tooks of Tallahasee, Fla., Shakieya Sanders of Aiken, and Dellase Felix of Barnwell; four sisters: Everdell (Mark) Daniels and Willie Mae (Robert) Smalls, both of Blackville, Lois (Demetrius) Glover of Aiken, and Nakisha (Jerry) Smith of Greer; five brothers: Abadine (Barbara) Jones, Donace (Artelia) Isaac, Sherwin (Asia) Isaac Sr., and Greg Isaac, all of Blackville, and Rodney (Michelle) Isaac of Wagener; 14 grandchildren, a special friend, Alfreda Tooks of Barnwell, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and sorrowing friends.
The Heritage Funeral Home of Allendale, Inc., 352 Mill Street N., Allendale, is in charge of arrangements.
