Mr. Wilmon Bing Jr. was born July 31, 1950 to the late Wilmon Bing Sr. and Blandena Barton Bing. He departed this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 3:50 p.m. at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Wilmon will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at noon at Second Baptist Church of Barnwell with Rev. Phillip Thomas as the presiding official and Rev. Phinice Young as eulogist. Committal, benediction and invaultment will follow at Hope Memorial Park in Barnwell.
Wilmon was a man that loved children and took up time with his grand, nieces and nephews.
He was a 1970 graduate of Kelly Edwards High School, where he played football and drove bus.
He was retired from Aiken-Barnwell Disability Special Needs Board (ABCDSNB) where he was a Mental Retardation Specialist for 18 years.
Wilmon leaves to cherish his loving memories: his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Ollie Bing; one son, Corey (Ann) Sims of Columbia; one daughter, Katrina Bing of Columbia; five grandchildren, C. J., T’Keaya, Cierra, Rashad, and Shamon; seven great-grandchildren, two foster grandchildren, Trevon Pollard and Evelyn Jamison; one sister, Doris (Phinice) Young; one brother, James Bing; a host of nieces and nephews; one special cousin, Wymon Mitchell. Special thanks to Barnwell County Renal Service, and his nurses, Terrell and Kelly.
