Mark Warren White, of Allendale, the son of Martha White and the late Tom C. White, died August 13, 2017.
He was born April 9, 1961 in Spartanburg, and spent most of his life in Allendale. He has two sisters, Eunice Horne (David) of Estill and Esther Wilson (John) of Spanish Fort, AL; two nieces, Alexandria Wilson and Claire Wilson, and one nephew, Jack Wilson. Mark graduated from USC Salkehatchie with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.
Mark liked to travel and write poetry. He had a passion for books and accumulated a large assortment on various subjects. He enjoyed painting, reading and collecting tools and various antique objects.
Memorial services were held at the Allendale First Baptist Church on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. The family received friends in the sanctuary prior to the service from 1 until 1:50 p.m.
