Jessie Lloyd Little Jr., 97, passed away September 11, 2017 at his home in Barnwell.
Mr. Little was born on November 24, 1919 in Quinton, Ala. He was the son of the late Jessie Lloyd Little Sr. and Ethal Alexander Scoggins. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Navy Reserve and was a retired Instrument Technician with Dupont. He was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and Harmony Masonic Lodge of Barnwell.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Barnwell First Baptist Church Chapel. Burial followed in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Mole Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Angelene Pennington Corell Little of the home; his daughters, Andrea Little Harrington of Chatham, Mass., Judy Little Goldman of Jackson Beach, Fla., Kathryn Little Youngblood of Martinez, Ga.; son, Jesse Lloyd (Laurie) Little III of Vera Beach, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his step sons, Mark Corell of Barnwell and Alan (Brenda) Corell of Tampa, Fla.; step daughter-in-law, Melanie Corell of Barnwell, 8 step grandchildren, and 16 step great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by son-in-law, W.W. Harrington; step sons, Ralph Corell and Letcher Corell.
