Mr. Frank Smith, age 54, was born on June 11, 1963 in Allendale, to the late John Davis and Elizabeth Moore Smith.
At an early age he joined and was baptized at the Beautiful Gate Baptist Church in Allendale.
He received his education in the public-school system in Allendale and worked at Dixie Narco in Williston for many years.
Frank will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, and he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was married to the late Carol Loadholt Smith for 12 years.
Besides his wife, parents, and grandparents, he is preceded in death by one brother, John Davis Smith Jr.; one sister, Gloria Jean Williams; and one sister-in-law, Inez Prize Williams.
Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call him from labor to reward on October 9, 2017, at his home in Allendale.
Cherishing his beautiful memory are four daughters, Tyesha Hayward of Burlington, N.C., Kendra L. (Rodney) Bryant of Charleston, Christian (Nathaniel) Powell of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, and Angel Smith of Barnwell; two sons, Montrell J. Loadholt (Tia Fredrick) of Allendale, and Julian Smith of Barnwell; ten grandchildren; two godchildren; three sisters, Brenda Brantley (Rufus) of Ocala, Fla., Richardeen Williams, and Sharlene Flowers of Allendale; mother-in-law, Pernell Loadholt of Allendale; five brothers, Johnnie Lee (Elease) Flowers, Leo Williams, Richard Lee Williams, and Lenox (Elizabeth) Flowers, all of Allendale, and Eugene (Tasha) Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 11 aunts, four grandaunts;seven uncles,one granduncle; four special friends, Ralph Carter Jr., Donald Burison, Bruce McMillan and Rodney Devoe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
The funeral service was 2 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Beautiful Gate Baptist Church in Allendale with words of comfort by Pastor Gilbert Hill. The burial followed in the church cemetery.
B.F. Cave Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
