Clyde Collins, 72, husband of Ann G. Collins, died Friday, October 21, 2016.
Mr. Collins was a native of Tattnall County, Ga. and lived in Allendale for the past 44 years. He was the son of the late Neadom Lee and Bernice Rewis Collins. He retired from Collum’s Lumber Mill and was a member of the Hampton Church of God.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Hampton Church of God with the Reverend Gene Fowler and Reverend Varney Aspinwall officiating. Burial will follow in Swallow Savannah Cemetery.
Survivors other than his wife, Ann G. Collins, are one son, Robert L. Collins (Rachel); one daughter, Susie C. Strickland (Johnny); one brother, John Collins (Fran); two sisters, Floy Aspinwall (Varney) and Myrtis Johnson; grandchildren, John Ross, Jackson Kennedy, and Ariana Annaleigh. He was predeceased by two daughters, Angela and Crystal Collins; one sister, Nadine Richardson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2016 at Keith Smith Funeral Service, 128 Water St., Allendale.
