Isaac Robinson - Barnwell

Mr. Isaac Robinson, age 83, was born on March 29, 1933, in Elko, to the late Samuel Robinson Sr. and the late Sara Evans Robinson.

Seeking God’s direction and guidance he joined the St. Peter Baptist Church in Elko. He received his education in the Elko public school system and worked at Milliken in Barnwell as a Forklift Operator for 35 years.

Isaac will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, and he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was united in holy matrimony to Peggie L. Robinson for over 59 years, and in this union, four children were born.

Besides his parents and grandparents, he is preceded in death by one son, Isaac Pernard Robinson; four brothers, Arnold Robinson, O’Neal Robinson, Sam Robinson, and Willie Robinson; and three sisters, Ida Mae Baxley, Jewel Felder, and Mary Robinson.

Our Heavenly Father called him from labor to reward on February 13, 2017, at the Pruitt Health Nursing Home in North Augusta.

He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, a loving and devoted wife, Peggie Robinson of Barnwell; two daughters, Peggie Neal and Sharon (Jeffrey) Plunkett of Barnwell; one son, Donald L. (Jacqueline) Robinson of Barnwell; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren;one great-great-grandchild;one sister, Barbara Jean Bing of Williston; One brother, Harry Robinson of Williston; daughter-in-law, Sandra Robinson of Aiken, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.

The funeral service was 3 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017, at the St. Peter Baptist Church in Elko with words of comfort by Pastor Anthony Gadson. The burial followed in the church cemetery.

B.F. Cave Funeral Chapel in Allendale was in charge of arrangements.
