Marie Bell Frazier, 81, of Barnwell, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
Marie was born in Bamberg on February 23, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Rochie and Sadie Sharpe Bell Sr. She was retired after 30 plus years as the manager of Allied Department Store in Barnwell. She was an active member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and her Sunday school class.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Barnwell First Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at Mole Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Marie’s name to the Barnwell First Baptist Church Elevator Fund, 161 Allen St., Barnwell, SC 29812.
She is survived by her husband, J. Otis Frazier of the home, children, David and Laurie Frazier of North Augusta, Keith and Susan Frazier of Barnwell, and Don and Stephanie Frazier of Barnwell; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Frazier Chitty; son, Terry M. Frazier; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
