Funeral services for Leighton McArthur “L.M.” Morris, 71, of Williston, will be held 3 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with the Reverends Bert Baynham and Charles Morris officiating. Burial will follow at the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the funeral home in Williston.

L.M. passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
Born in Barnwell County he was a son of the late Charlie Leighton and Maggie Lorene Birt Morris. L.M. was a carpenter and formerly worked in general maintenance and construction at the Savannah River Site.
Survivors include his wife and children, Linda Lou Kennedy Morris of the home; Ricky Allen Morris (Lisa Bolen) of Barnwell, Paula Lorene Roelle (David), Tammy Frances Bolen and Layton McArthur Morris Jr. (Charlotte Ann), all of Williston; grandchildren, Jonathan Morris (Sandra Driggers), Marie Johnson (Lewis J. Rogers), Savannah Morris, Michael Bolen Jr. (Krystal), James Bolen (Kayde), Christopher Poe, Duffie Bolen Jr. (Shovone), Cody Bolen, Chance McGowan, Teresa Tharrin (Cory), Layton Morris III and Elizabeth Ann Morris; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Alexis, Mason, Jayden, Emma, Hunter, Lewcas, James Jr., Epley, Alena, Gage, Tori, Kori; sisters, Virginia Hutto, Neta Ruthland, Carolyn Cramer, Glorene Johnston; brother, Rogers Morris; sister-in-law, Brenda Morris. He was preceded in death by a brother, Cleveland Morris.
