Mr. Kishon O. Priester, aka “Bleek”, age 31, was born on September 2, 1986, in Charleston to James Priester and the late Gloria Bellmon.
He received his education in the public school system of Allendale and later moved to Opelika, Ala.
“Bleek”, as he was affectionately known, will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, and he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Besides his mother, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandmother, he is preceded in death by one aunt, Jeannette Hamilton, and two uncles, Dollar Priester and Thomas Hamilton.
Our Heavenly Father called him from labor to reward on September 17, 2017, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Ala.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his parents, James (Ida) Priester of Allendale; paternal grandfather, Henry Priester (Elease Buxton); three sisters, Nikki (Robert) Young of Savannah, Ga., Jamie Priester, and Patricia Ann (Demetricus) Drayton of Allendale; three brothers, Marcus Whitherspoon of Columbia, James Hoover of Cambridge, MD, and Christopher Priester of Allendale; four stepbrothers, Nicholas Davis, Donnel Davis, and Gregory Slayton of Allendale, and Bryon Zeigler of Statesboro, Ga.; two aunts, Mary Ann Priester of Barnwell and Henrietta O’Berry of Allendale; eight uncles, Leroy Priester, Wallace Priester, Henry Priester Jr., Johnny Priester, and Arthur Bellmon, all of Allendale, Benjamin Priester of Ulmer,, Michael and John Priester of Jacksonville, Fla.; special and devoted friend, Ny’Esha McKenzie of Opelika, Ala.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Allendale Community Church in Allendale with words of comfort provided by Pastor Willie Elmore. Burial followed at Hayes Cemetery in Allendale.
B.F. Cave Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
