Mrs. Mary L. Gantt Wilson, aka “Blue Juice”, age 60, was born on November 8, 1956, in Allendale to the late Eddie and Maggie Gantt. She received her education at CV Bing High School in Allendale before moving to Florida.
“Blue Juice”, as she was affectionately known, will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends, and she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Besides her husband, parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by, two sisters, Margarette Gadson Youmans and Helen Gadson Freeman; two brothers, Larry Gadson and
Eddie L. Gadson, one sister-in-law, two aunts, and one uncle.
She was married to the late Jewel Lee Wilson for 25 years.
Our Heavenly Father called her from labor to reward on September 19, 2017, at the Augusta University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, one daughter, Sabrina L. Gadson (Rufus) Cave of Allendale; four grandchildren, Maggie Gadson, Raven Gadson, and Ameriah Gadson, all of Allendale, and Bionca Buckmon of Barnwell; one great-grandchild, Bra’Lynn Buckmon of
Barnwell; three sisters, Mary Alice Fullington, Evelyn Gadson Grant, and Lucille Gadson Boynton, all of Allendale; three brothers, Charlie Gadson of Spartanburg, Harry Gadson and James Parker of Allendale; one sister-in-law, Mary Ellis Wilson of Miami, Fla.; one godson, Deonta Devoe of Allendale; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
A Celebration of Life Service was held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at noon at Simpson United Methodist Church in Allendale with words of comfort provided by Rev. Warren Murdock Sr. Burial followed at Simpson UMC Cemetery in Allendale.
B.F. Cave Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
